Robert B. Parker’s Little White Lies, Ace Atkins, 2017

Atkins manages to get the witty banter just right between Spenser, Susan, Hawk, Henry, and reappearing after an absence of many years, Tedy, the gay ex-Airborne gun.  Spenser is asked by a distraught woman to recover her $300,000 investment in a fake gun club sold to her by her lover, M. Brooks Welles, who turns out to have a number of false identities and con jobs around the country.  When his client is found murdered in Georgia, Spenser, Hawk, and Tedy go into action. The body count rises but the good guys win in the end.  Silly fun.
