Myron Bolitar and his sidekick, Windsor Horne Lockwood III, become involved in a murder/disappearance when Myron’s biggest sports client is a suspect in the disappearance of his girlfriend, Kathy Culver.  The plot is hard to believe, the action is a bit ridiculous, but the dialogue is worth the price of admission. Cobren could become another steady part of my junk reading as long as it’s Bolitar and Lockwood doing the head and case cracking.
