Some wonderful poems in this collection by New Hampshire’s great, living woman poet.  Oblivion is a cry of pain for poet friends who have committed suicide.  Many other sad good-by poems to her late husband, old horses, and an earlier life.  The Brown Mountain is a grand ode to compost:  “compost is our future.”
