The Trespasser, Tana French, 2016

This is the fourth book by this Dublin-based writer that I’ve now read, and it is excellent.  French develops characters, weaves plots, limns in settings, and does a memorable job as proven by the fact that I can still remember the stories of the first three of her books that I read.  In this one, Antoinette Conway (about whom we learn much more in the course of the book) and Steven Moran are handed what appears to be a straightforward domestic murder case only to find themselves over their heads in a Dublin Murder Squad intramural fight to the end.  A fine read for anyone who loves detective stories, Irish stories, or just a darn good read.
