The introductory book in the now 16 boo k Jack Reacher series. We meet Reacher as he is arrested at a diner in small town, Margrave, Georgia.  Four hundred pages later he is moving on  after killing at least 12 men and destroying most of the town.  He was justified since the Kliners were very nasty counterfeiters, but what a mess!  The coincidences pile up by the dozen, stretching credulity and good taste.  Having bought nine others in this series,I’m  not sure I can make it through them. Great action scenes; weak character development.
