First two plays by Nobel Prize-winning British playwright.  Stark, Beckettesque dramas about death, isolation, alienation and the bleakness of everyday life.  Easy to see why it took ten years between the first English performance in Cambridge and the Broadway opening.  Lots of pauses and confusion.  Ugh!
