Silence by Thomas Perry 2007
I thought that The Butcher’s Boy series by Perry were some of the best thriller/mystery writing I’d seen, so when I saw this book on the shelves in the Used Book section of the Harvard Book Store, I jumped at it. Big mistake.
I got to the final 452nd page and thoughts, Why did I waste my time on this??? The book has a thin plot, flat characters, and a rushed and unsatisfying ending. Other than that, it was not very good.
Save your time and effort and read something else.
