Postcards to Grandchildren

The simple postcard is a wonderful way to stay connected to those you care about.  In addition to my daily postcard to a friend, I send a postcard every Monday to each of my four grandchildren.  With topics like far away places, birds, the 50 states, museum holdings, soccer and other sports, ballet, etc, I write a brief message that perhaps years from now will remind them of times we’ve spent together.  As of this morning in May, 2025, I’ve sent 560 to Simon, 351 to Lucy, 335 to Jonah and 189 to Franny.  Not sure what my daughters are doing to preserve these, but time will tell. At any rate, once a week, I sit and think about these four wonderful little people and write to them.
