Pierce the Skin: Selected Poems 1982-2007, Henri Cole 2010

Identified by Harold Bloom in Till I End My Song as a central poet of his generation, Cole writes powerfully about his homosexuality, parents, the spoiled world, and nature.  He is most passionate in his love poems, most of which are sad, tragic, and end up feeling lonely.  Not likely to be a long time favorite of mine.
