Outwitting Trolls, William Tapply 2010

The 25th Brady Coyne mystery will be Tappley’s last since he died in 2009.  His urbane, deeply feeling, skilled, Beacon Hill lawyer is always struggling with his ex-wife, two sons, latest girlfriend, dutiful secretary, and latest case—usually with success and equanimity based on his fly-fishing and dog, Henry.  In this case, an ex-neighbor and friend is found murdered the day after he and Brady share drinks after a ten year separation—Brady takes the ex-wife and chief suspect on as a client.  A second murder occurs and Brady is later saved from being the murderer’s third victim by Homicide Detective Roger Horwitz of the Massachusetts State Police. Not a great book but good light entertainment.
