A re-read of a Maigret book that started my fascination with this series back in the 1970’s when Helen Byers gave me a copy.  In this tale, Maigret receives an anonymous note that someone will be murdered at Mass in his home village, Saint Fiacre.  He goes, the murder occurs, he solves it, but for the life of me, I can’t remember how!!!  Can’t wait to return to more of these wonderfully crafted miniatures!
