In the News

When I shared my Reading List with one of my college roommates, he suggested that I write a book review column for a local newspaper.  When the editor of the Bennington Banner in southwest Vermont expressed interest, I began to write a book review column, BookMarks.  The column now appears every two weeks in two Vermont newspapers, The Bennington Banner and Brattleboro Reformer and occasionally in the Manchester  Journal and the Valley News, which serves 46 towns in Vermont and New Hampshire along the Connecticut River.   I’ve reviewed novels, short story collections, mysteries,  poetry, essay collections, and biographies, nearly all of them written by Vermont authors and/or about Vermont topics.  The book reviews are listed here and linked to the newspaper columns themselves.
