A wide-sweeping epic story spanning India, Ethiopia, New York and points between.  Memorable characters—-Sister Mary Joseph Praise, Thomas Stone, Hema and Ghosh, Matron and Marion and Shiva Praise—in a story of love, family, work, and political disruption.  A great read.
