The title tells it all as Heyenga, described on the cover as ‘the compiler’ presents the work of 27 artists who work with or on books as their medium.  With a preface from one of the artists, Brian Dettmer, and an introduction this is a winsome and wonderful expression of the immense creativity and innovation shown by artists working today.  The techniques are varied beyond detailed description, but the products are almost uniformly charming and beautiful, thought-provoking, and head-scratchingly striking.  Would love to have some of this work in my home.
