Okay, okay.  Yes, I vowed after reading the latest Reacher novel by this brothers team that I would never read these stupid, violent, poorly written, and idiotically plotted books, but I did.  Shame on me, and yes, it was a total waste of time.

“Exit Strategy” has just replaced “The Red Queen” as the stupidest book I’ve read in the last decade, primarily because Martha Grimes has her age (95) as an excuse.

I won’t even try to summarize the banal and non-believable plot or the excessive and sadistic violence that Reacher seems to have descended into.  Enough said that it was a complete and total waste of time.  I almost stopped reading it halfway through, but plowed on in another example of a bed decision.  Skip this one.
